And so it began:

In 1957, the Schermer family opened

a small milk bar in Westendorf; this soon

it became a snack bar and then a thriving

popular inn with a few guest rooms.

In 1980, a major refurbishment took place to create a 4-star hotel. In 2003, the last major refurbishment

and extension, creating a family-run, upmarket 4-star wellness hotel.

In December 2000, Andrea and Jakob Schermer took over the running of the hotel from the senior owners,

and have been running the hotel with great dedication ever since.
